Secure Data Destruction

Hit that Delete key and empty the wastebasket in Windows and you’re clean, right?   Wrong.

Hard disk drives have file indexes like the Table of Contents in a book.  Deleting a file on a hard drive does not remove the data; it simply removes the file name from the index.

That’s like removing the chapter entry from the Table of Contents.  The chapter isn’t listed, but the pages are still there.  And a smart hacker can easily find the pages.

What happens when you donate that old computer, photocopier or smart electronics with hard drives to the recycling center or local school?

Secure Deletion, Wiping, and Destruction

We can provide secure and complete removal of data with several methods including secure military grade data overwrite, magnetic data erasure (aka deguass), and physical destruction of electronics (think loud crunching of metal teeth and gears).

Call us before you donate that old phone, computer or smart office equipment.  Make sure no one else has your old data but you.
